About Phoebus Lighting and Manufacturing

Phoebus (the god of light) Manufacturing was the first company to produce theatrical followspots using an enclosed arc. In our three decades we’ve become a respected member of the theatrical manufacturing community. Our line has grown to include 8 models selling to a world wide market. Our current line of compact searchlights derived from decades of practical field research have proved a popular, reliable choice of motion pictures, advertising and events; and they are finding a new market in security and defense. In addition to our standard manufactured lines, Phoebus specializes in custom design and installation of big output lighting sources. The signature “Crowning Jewel” atop the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, the Lindbergh Beacon Restoration at Los Angeles City Hall, the CN Tower in Toronto were all built by Phoebus Manufacturing as was the outdoor lighting for Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Phoebus manufacturing: Made in the USA--quality, durability and creativity.
