About RAB Lighting

RAB was founded in 1946 by Raymond Barna and his father-in-law, Tobius Friedman, a Sales Manager for General Electric Lamps. RAB started its corporate life in a Bronx storefront manufacturing sand-cast vaporproof and floodlighting products as well as: Explosionproof and Garden Lighting products and HID Floodlighting and Wallpacks plus Quartz Floodlighting and Vandalproof Lighting, Occupancy Sensors and Landscape Lighting.
