B-K Lighting Honored with Innovation Award at Lightfair 2013

B-K Lighting revealed the Precision 2® and K2TM Series Floodlight with Color Tuning BKSSLTM Technology in Philadelphia and were immediately recognized by the Edison Report as "One of the Top 10 Must See Products at Lightfair."

The Precision 2® In-Grade has been further honored as the winner for the Outdoor Luminaires - Sports, Step, Landscape, Pool & Fountain Illumination Award category.

The LFI Innovation Awards honors industry innovations for lighting-related products and designs introduced within the past 12 months. Each product was judged by an independent panel of renowned lighting professionals and were presented on April 23, 2013 at the Ballroom of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The Precision 2® with Color Tuning BKSSLTM Technology features high quality construction and state of the art, industry-first innovations. Features include:

• Color tuning module replicates a continuous wide spectrum of natural light. This  proprietary system provides illumination that can be tuned continuously from 2700K   through 6000K and dimmed from 100-5% output.

• A wireless light commissioning tool scans a wireless network to discover the luminaires in range and then enables individual control of on/off, dimming, CCT modulation, as well as full saturation and hue control. For fixture-to-fixture accuracy, a unique copy/paste function allows the settings to be copy/pasted using a hand-held remote control.

• Solid, 7" diameter, 1⁄2" thick flush faceplate is machined from copper-free aluminum (Type 6061T6), brass (Type 360) or stainless steel (Type 304) with five (5) black oxide, captive, stainless steel mounting screws.

• Integrated solid state system is scalable for field upgrade. Modular design with electrical quick disconnects permit field maintenance.

• For use with [1] 700mA, Class A, constant current driver. 120-277VAC (nominal) primary input voltage.•

• Features OptiLock® and gear tray quick disconnects.
